OpenOrder sends transactional SMS only — not marketing or promotional text messages. This page describes what you agree to when you opt in, how to get help, and where opt-in happens in the Open Order app.
Transactional messages only
OpenOrder uses SMS to support your orders and account on the Open Order platform. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS under this program.
Message types may include:
- Verification codes
- Order confirmations
- Order status updates
- Pickup-ready alerts
- Cancellation notices
- Completed-order notices
- Order issue notices
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and order activity. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt out and help
- Reply STOP to any OpenOrder SMS message to opt out of transactional texts.
- Reply HELP for help.

Where customers opt in
Customers opt in during account phone verification, checkout, or phone verification before submitting their mobile number. You must check the consent box before we send a verification code or complete checkout with SMS order updates.
